PixelSteer/Agent visual feedback

Agent visual feedback

Give coding agents feedback they can locate.

PixelSteer connects what you see in the browser to what your coding agent needs to find in the codebase.

Visual intent, grounded in code

Point at the interface.
Keep control of the source.

When a developer says “make this feel lighter,” the agent needs both the intent and the target. PixelSteer preserves that relationship by attaching feedback to the selected rendered element or page region.

The product is agent-neutral by design: browser selection on one side, a structured local task in the middle, and an adapter or skill for the coding agent on the other side.

The PixelSteer loop

Three steps from feedback to frontend.

01

Select

Open your running app through PixelSteer and click the element or region you want to change.

02

Describe

Add the result you want. PixelSteer keeps the note attached to the page and visual context.

03

Review

your coding agent edits the real source. Your existing dev server reloads the result for review.

Install once

Add the PixelSteer skill.

Run the install command from your frontend project, then invoke it in your coding agent.

Questions

What developers ask.

Which coding agents can use visual feedback?

PixelSteer provides setup paths for Codex, Claude Code, and OpenCode, with the current published skill most directly aligned with Codex.

Is the feedback sent to a hosted PixelSteer service?

The proxy, browser connection, and task handoff run locally. Your agent follows its own model-provider and privacy settings.

Stop translating the screen into prose.
